    It means the operator has submitted their SSM registration and tourism licence, and Corallium has checked those documents. It is not a guarantee of the safety, price or quality of the trip — you should still read the operator's terms before you pay.

    Do I pay Corallium or the operator?

    The operator. Corallium is where you find and compare operators; the trip itself is between you and them. That is why we do not charge you a middleman fee.

    What does the “Licence checked” badge mean?

    That operator has submitted their SSM registration and tourism licence, and we have checked those documents. It is not a guarantee of the safety or quality of the trip. You can verify the licence number yourself with our Check Operator tool.

    What happens if bad weather cancels the trip?

    The weather cancellation policy is set by each operator, not by Corallium. Ask for their policy before you pay a deposit — most Semporna operators offer rescheduling when the Meteorological Department issues a sea warning.

    Do I need a diving licence for Sipadan?

    To scuba dive at Sipadan you need a dive certification and a daily permit, which is limited in number. For snorkelling at Mabul, Kapalai and around Semporna, no certification is needed. The operator will handle the permit application for you.

    Can I book without creating an account?

    Yes. You can send a booking or WhatsApp the operator directly without registering. Keep the booking link we give you — that is how you check the status later.

    How do I check a booking I have already made?

    Use the reference link sent after booking, or open the Check Booking page and enter your reference number.
